Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Saw this posted in the Baltimore CL.
For 2k, I emailed him and said if it's still available, I'll take it! (credit card via paypal or any damn thing haha)

"Hello,
Thank you for your email. I am glad that you want to...
Been away from Les Pauls for a while. Tried and sold a few other guitars inbetween my last Les Paul, which was my dream Les Paul; a regular-production black/gold Custom.
Same old story... hard financial times but I recently bounced back and could afford a good guitar again!
I tried out a PRS...
Just wondering what kind of guitar is on the cover of one of my favorite jazz albums, errr, cd's :)
I know they started making the Tal Farlow signature model in 62, but I've always wondered which guitar is on the cover of The Swinging Guitar of Tal Farlow. The album is from 1957 so... at...
Just recently got my dream guitar, a black LP custom. I recently got an amazing amp to match up with it!
My former amp didn't sound too hot with 'buckers, so I decided to start looking for a Marshall again, my LP's have always sounded great through them. Posted this over at the Marshall amp...
I haven't seen too much love for modern LP customs, seems like everyone likes the originals, the Norlins, the 80s/early90s.... basically everything but the current models! :wah
Sold all my other guitars to get this. Here's a quick pic I shot before shipping out the Fenders seen below to their...
Slash is playing what I think is one of his 'new' signature Slash LP's through a JCM-800 at the very end of the new shock-humor movie Bruno.
I'm not even going to get into the discussion of the movie, because some people will think it was hilarious (younger crowd?) while others probably left...
Hilarious movie aside, in School of Rock's beginning, Jack Black's band is playing a song and the singer (Adam Pascal from 'Rent') is playing what looks like just some sort of relic'd LP Standard, a sort of tri-color burst almost, maybe Desert Burst?
Anyways, saw the movie the other day and I...
Glad I didn't jump on that fake custom I posted a week ago; rosewood fretboard, weird headstock, etc.
I've always heard good things about the first few years of the Les Paul Classic, so I threw a max bid on one on ebay and won it last night for 1325 bucks:
The seller seems cool, already...
Is it just me or is this kind of out of place?

I am thinking of bidding on it, but there is something shady as heck about it. Or is it really just a custom...
I had these pickups in my Les Paul, which I'm selling since I dropped in my Duncan 59's.
does A IV mean alnico 4? never heard of that before. tried a search but couldn't find much.
Any info?:2zone
Tossed in a set of Seymour Duncan 59s in place of the stock Burstbuckers in my 2005 Standard. Burstbuckers were a bit too harsh on the top end, a bit too muddy on the bottom and just a little bit harsh with my amp. Took a shot and got some Duncan 59s after listening to the clips on Duncan's...
Just won this:

Good price I thought. Been looking for the 57 classic for a while.
Here's the question:
The one I won was a regular 57 Classic. If I were to get a 57 classic "plus", that would...

Been craving a matching 70s Marshall cabinet to go with my 1977 JMP100 head since I got her about 6 months ago.
Up until now, I had a stock JCM900 1960a cabinet, which sounded good, but it would always make a farting noise on some of the low E notes/bar chords.
Anyways, got rid of the old cab...
Don't know if tis belongs here, but since im talking about sunburst color/pickup color matching, ill post it here.
does the Seymour Duncan color "zebra" match the cream color pickup rings found on the 2005 les paul standard? or is the white on their zebra color a more bright white and not...
