• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

My go-to strap brand is "Well-Hung" Straps, a hand-made brand out of Canada. This one is from their "Amp'd" Series honoring the grille cloth patterns of classic amps. This one is a Marshall theme. Extremely comfortable, very well-made out of high-quality materials, and while I can't prove it, it makes your playing at least 40% better. You can find them on Reverb--just search "Well-Hung" and you can be Well-Hung like I am!

Not a les paul, but SGs need good straps too.

Planet Waves premium ones do the job just fine, they are thick and not too sticky to the shirt, yet sit quite well on your shoulder. This one practically avoids neckdive and looks cool.

I've got about 6 Fender Reissue Teles and Strats. They each came with this strap. I just use those.
I also have a Soldier strap that looks like an old Ace strap from the 60s. I use that when I'm feeling hippyish.

I LOVE IT. That's the right strap for that guitar !!

Double Duane. Original Zebo?
Thanks! But technically, Duane only used his '69 flat ring strap with his goldtop... he used his mountain strap with his bursts. The mountain is cool, but I prefer the big ring. This one ain't a Zebo, but Hawk got Zebo's blessing before making them... and that's good enough for me!! :salude

I've been mainly using soft straps, something that doesn't saw into the side of my neck like some cheap straps do.
