• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

The '58 that Eliot has is priced at $185k and has a bit more curl in the top than this '59. But it looks like this '59 is really clean!

It may look familiar if you have gone through the Les Paul Legacy book by Robb Lawrence. I believe this is the guitar on page 220.

I don't have the book handy, does Robb mention its serial number?

Very nice.

I was looking at this picture that was posted on another forum and someone pointed out that the hang tag is repro - should have a curly L not a straight L for Les.

Hi Don!
You may recall it's actually a 1956 conversion, a good one!

Bernie

Bernie; Hi! Yes, you are right. I was going to correct, but saw that you had replied here before I could fix it that. Good to see you here!
