• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Ganzler just moved back to sunny California.
The moving and relocating expenses might have been too big a burden? :hmm

Logically, the only reason you'd make that video would be to advertise her... Anyone want to buy a burst?

I think if you ask Mr. Ganzler, he'd tell you, moving back to California from Arizona is.......PRICELESS!:hee

Yes - I LOVE not living in Arizona! (No offense to anyone that DOES live there; it just wasn't for ME)

As my good friend Mssr. Daughtry also indicated, EVERYTHING is "for sale". I used to not think so when I was a younger man - now I know better. What Charlie is saying (knowing him, and reading between the lines) is that "material things" are just THAT - material THINGS. He and I have both been very fortunate to have owned some REALLY great "things" in our respective lifetimes so far; indeed, we both STILL really own some great things. But we're also even LUCKIER having great spouses, great pets, and great friends - as a man gets older, (if he's SMART) he realizes that THOSE are infinitely more important than the greatest of material things.

As far as Gladys being "for sale" - Gladys has virtually ALWAYS been "for sale" - anybody wants her, now is as good a time as ever to "Nut up or shut up"!:ganz

Oh, and just to stop the "rumor mill" before it goes any FURTHER, I do not HAVE to sell Gladys! My health continues to be robust, thanks to my avoidance of all vegetables (although I accidentally ate a vegetable a couple weeks ago) and daily consumption of meat and alcohol, which promptly kills any invasive germs that may have entered my body. We just closed on a house here in San Clemente (home to the late Richard M. Nixon); my "Sugar Momma" makes more than enough to cover the bills (including my weekly payments to Mr. Jack Daniel) - no children to send to college, no child support payments, no alimony, no drug habits, no car payments, no lawsuits, and most importantly, both my bicycles are paid for! Life is good!:dude:

Yep, it really "ain't none 'o' mine" to make conjecture on, but I will always associate Gladys with the Ganz no matter who has physical ownership.

Congrats on your move Joe and I agree that life, love, family and friendships trump everything else at the end of the day. I'm just a little bummed to see Gladys out of your hands. I guess I'm being silly but...

Joe, glad to hear you have your priorities straight. But I have to ask, what the he!! are you thinkin', man?!?

Gladys is, quite possibly, the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen in person. And I love how you've made it accessible to the rest of us to see, touch and drool on. I sure hope it doesn't end up being shipped overseas somewhere to be part of a collection, where we'll never get to see it again.

All the best, my friend!

For the record, Gladys is still resting comfortably in Casa Ganz. It CAN be bought today - tomorrow? Maybe for more, NOT for less, and maybe not at ALL; as most of you know, I'm a "whimsical" guy...

Gladys - check

meat - check

booze - check

Sugar Momma $$$ - check

Tricky Dick reference - check

I challenge anyone to combine that list of subjects into one small paragraph.

Awesome Ganz! :dude:
