• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

Which are your "take to the grave" guitars? Gibsons...

These will need to be pried from my cold, dead hands.

Post yours!

All of mine are. It's hard to say no sometimes, but I don't buy it if it isn't a keeper.

This '63 SG Jr. in polar white was my "take-to-the-grave" guitar.

Until I sold it.

Fortunately, this '04 LP Custom (SG) is helping me get over the loss.

My R6/R7 Makeover. Refinished and relic'd by Gord Miller in 2009/2010. Equipped with vintage parts, including PAFs. I can't imagine letting this guitar go:

My 1980 Firebrand SG. I've said it before, I'd be living naked on the streets before giving that guitar up.

BTW, Elliot, are you expecting to have to fight zombies in the afterlife, or is your idea of hell being in a KISS cover band?

My people don't believe in an afterlife, but my idea of hell would be living in Canoga Park.

When the Messiah comes the dead will once again walk the earth...So should I take my R8 with me or store it someplace?
