Nice one! I am in the market to buy something like that, but isn’t that priced too steeply? What’s a fair price for a TOM P90 goldtop in similar all original condition?

If I figured the conversion correctly, that is around $53,000 USD. I know the European vintage guitar market is different than the U.S. But, to me, it seems a bit high. You may want to contact the gentlemen mentioned in the advertisement to get their opinions.

"It has been inspected by both Tom Wittrock (Les Paul Forum) and Gibson expert Terry Mueller who has also written a certificate that it is in "Excellent + condition".

Any thoughts on this? It was for sale over a year ago and now it's back... Exactly the same pictures but a lower price if my memory serves me well.

Last year they also made reference to Eric Johnson: "Although no premium has been added to pricing we can confirm that we have just secured the purchase from Eric Johnson whom can be seen / heard using this specific instrument on various live and studio recordings"
No mention of this anymore however...

Yes, I think it's a hacked account and bogus listings.
The same seller is putting guitars online every 30 minutes and somewhat later they are gone again.

It says a lot that they put a fake 57 serial number on it. I'd rather a conversion with its original genuine 1954 serial number intact thanks.

Refinished, routed AND restamped. These three things alone should devalue the guitar considerably in my book. Add to that the unoriginal parts, no PAF:s in the world can make it worth that much, can they? :##

Are your suspicions raised by the serial number? If not, then what in the posted pictures indicates the possibility of changed plastic?

Yes, the serial number seems way to high for black parts.
