Go into the archives on this board (or several others, for that matter) and you'll see literally dozens of "Oh my God! This (whatever) has THE secret figured out!"

Then, quietly, they disappear forever. Or, sometimes you'll hear they have problems filling orders timely, though they have their customer's money.

Whenever I'm looking at any musical gear, I always wait until I hear an opinion from someone I trust, like a regular here on the forum. I haven't seen that yet.

Who knows, maybe I've missed out on some sort of Holy Grail gear (the first Klons come to mind), but that is very rare.

i do belive this is paranoid kojak thinking as I know of no one that this has happened to,
I have had bad eBay deals, and allways got my money back.
lose money on a bad investment, yes, but a purchase? What country do live in?

find this very unlikely in today’s world.

Just check out will boggs of wb pickups, a large number of people
got screwed out of money and never got it back.

He would simply stall you with excuses until the time limit
to reverse charges passed

Same with jerry of vintage head box.

Thats just 2 examples of theft that alot of people never got there
money back.

over these, customer service has been stellar,
I am a very picky customer, I sell amps that start @
$3k,
i use em to demo said amps, it has to be perfect.
the first set was sent back.
