The Clapton Strat is the most versatile "stock" guitar available. Fight me!

Well here's something NO EC Strat is capable of... (or any other standard guitar for that matter)

Switch to alternate tunings without switching guitars or touching the tuning pegs.
Switch to twelve string

Line 6 Variax does that. The player can save ten alternate tunings. Why? I don't know. I use two or three alternate tunings. Also, there are multiple types of twelve string guitars ready at the flick of a switch and they sound good.

So then the Trans-Performance System installed into a Les Paul with coil-split, and phase-shifting capability... That would be the most versatile.

The 5 way switch gets you about every combination of coils and the mini toggle switches them all between series and parallel. 2nd place would be my PRS. The 5 way rotary gets a nice cross section of tones also
Sounds too good to be true, TBH.

You want me to buy one to check it out?

Perhaps I could ask Mason Marangella to do a video review on YouTube.
No, you could just go there... Not knowing where you are I cannot make a more specific suggestion

As for the latter. Don't waste your time. He would likely have gooped up the circuit and put his logo on it anyway
