To me the Beast sounds like a (real) lp. But nothing about it is particularly more distinctive than other lps. I am not sure where you can hear it played alone without all the bs pedals and reverbs, etc. I would like to. I have read it is 'loud' compared to other lps but I am not entirely sure what is meant by this.

I am guessing it does not have a particularly slim or fat neck? I often think you can guess the neck size of a real lp by its eq. The beast seems somewhere in the middle. Bass pickup isn't so dark, treble pickup isn't so bright.

It's always interesting how people describe vintage guitars, I've only played a few but they all have the same thing in common and that thing gets lost when listening from online media like YouTube.

It sounds to me that the Beast is a typical vintage guitar or more, it would be good to hear a comparison with modern R9's, then you'll know!

There is nothing ordinary about the Beast’s tone.
Whoever thinks that needs to listen to the recordings more carefully.
It’s an incredible sounding burst.
