• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

So, I'm thinking over the possibility of maybe selling a couple strats. Where do regular non-dealer/collector dudes go to market stuff? I don't really want to lose 20% to commission and stuff like ebay/reverb is just too full of scammers and BS. Any suggestions you guys have would be very much appreciated.

Oh I was totally planning on doing that but I didn't want to post this then post an ad and have people think I was phishing, so to speak. Don't want to break any rules!

Reverb is ok unless cme chimes in and you have to pay them to buy your guitar. I don't think a selling utopia exists in this country. You get low balled at the show and reamed everywhere else.

I usually have my best luck here and on the Gear Page, although items move slowly. That is also true on eBay and Reverb. I think Reverb beats eBay, and they don't basically force you into accepting PayPal. Also, I'd advise you to go back in time about two months to when I was in the market for a vintage Strat. ;-)

What did you end up getting ? :salude

Bottom: 9/56 body, 10/56 neck. Big, mild V neck. For the nerds: distinctive worm routing of late 56, early 57 bodies. I have always been partial to the V necks--never got over a 57 Esquire I sold and immediately regretted.
