Just In - 2009 Crews LED-Premium. Pickups swapped by the seller for a set of Duncan Slash APH-2S. Honduras Mahogany, very dark Brazilian RW fretboard, chunky '58 neck. Needs strings, but seems to play well up and down the neck with fairly low action. I have no experience with these pickups, but am going to give them a try. I have a spare set of K&T NFS Weeps if they don't cut it for me. I'm not fond of the mirror truss cover, so the original will go back on.

Just picked up this Japanese Taro LP copy a couple weeks ago. Trying to work out the fret buzz at the moment.

2023 Gibson Les Paul TV Yellow Special (not a Historic) with locking Grovers, "finger slicer" pointers on the volume and tone pots and (not yet applied when the photos were taken) Schaller strap-locks, which arrived in early December. It's a great rock and roll machine!

I freaking love P90 LP Specials. ❤️‍🔥

It may be sacrilege around these parts but I will take a good P90 LP Special over most LP Customs and Standards.

My two current Specials. The Cherry one has a Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Staple Pickup at the neck and a stock Gibson P90 at the bridge. The white one has a Lollar Goldfoil at the neck and a Lollar Staple at the bridge. The first one is a filthy rock beast, but don't be fooled that Staple will out shine most Fender pickups for clean tones.. The second a gorgeous cleans machine, that can get nasty as hell too.
