LP Mahogany Top wich glue?

Was the Mahogany top on the original 52-60 LP’s glued with Hide glueä or what was it if not?

The guitars with mahogany tops were actually all mahogany, and not a separate glued on top. :)

if you are talking about maple the answer is no they were a special glue that radio waves heated up = not hide glue or nasty titebond

Sorry i ment the Maple Cap of course. Is this original type glue impossible to use nowdays or is it maybe to costly. Not that i think it’s that important but just curious.
