• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

don't worry, eventually they'll both turn into inverness green!:salude

I had a '65 Inca Silver Strat about 20 years ago that clear had yellowed and gave it a bit of a green tint. Still one of the most gorgeous guitars I've ever owned. I'd definitely go with the silver. That champagne gold color doesn't work for me. Reminds me of grandmaw's car

I dunno, I kind of dig the gold too. Reminds me of a 50's T-Bird. Probably because it's the same color!

All the bird's they did were just too fine! The "EE Blue" er, I mean "Pleham Blue" is very nice too.

That silver is great! I can't recall ever seeing an original one in that color....but then I seem to have forgotten many other things...

I, too like the "gold" better. It looks more like a platinum to me, but a great color. Sounds silly, but I prefer guitars in earth tones. The blue looks too icy, cold, or metallic. Sorry it's my art classes speaking!

I like the gold better. The silver is too much Aristides for me:
