Well if it is even remotely true this would be a horrible PR move by the US Gov't. Nobody has the right to barge into your house and take something that is legal to own and has been for a long time.. 6. Have a presidential appointed action committee draw up legislation that would change the name of our national symbol, the bald eagle. Its plain as shit to anyone looking at the bird that its a bad comb over.

Back to the article, I think it is a good thing to see a bipartisan initiative from a couple of senators to clarify this whole mess and at least draw a line in the sand that says guitars built before a certain date are not in any sort of violation of CITES. I'm e-mailing mine to tell them to get on that bandwagon.
