so I have a problem with my les Paul where there's a ding just on the side of the guitar see I'm fine with little scratches and little dings because a guitar is meant to be played and I have been doing that what I want to know is what's the best way to make it les visible or make it go away and please don't reply saying they tell a story about the guitar or anything like that because I hear that all the time (just to say my guitar is a epiphone0

I had a ding on the upper horn of my 1998 American Standard Stratocaster that really bothered me so I covered it up with a stick on rhinestone. Then I got carried away by adding more rhinestones and the rest is history. ;)

@zach

there's an old sayin' from back in the day from the oil field: "if it don't work get a bigger hammer and if it still don't work **** it up so no one else can make it work"

So, maybe you need a bigger hammer, or .............

Good luck

I guess not much to say if you don't wanna hear it. Stuff happens, it's now part of your guitar in a fairly unnoticeable place.
There is a reason you hear it all the time. ?‍♀️
Certainly not worth stripping and refinishing.

to make it less visible you may want to get some 2”x2” micro mesh pads and at least knock off the outer ring a little

Build it up with CA glue if it bothers you.
The finish cracks are refracting light and appear white.
This will likely go away when the glue hits it.
It CAN run and make a mess.
The safe way is with clear nail polish, as mistakes are more easily cleaned.
Keep a rag and naphtha close by.
The down side of nail polish is, it can be several WEEKS before its hard enough to sand.

our little comedian
Well, you don't seem to like that you can't really do much about it that works really well outside of nail polsih and sanding. Which isn't perfect. Whether you like it or not, that's how it is. Can't change it.
You don't seem like you really wanna hear the truth as you said right off. So.....
