Was not intentionally trashing Clapton. Threads are totally different subjects. This highlights Robert Cray's sad situation in a journalism article. The other is conjecture on RS magazine. They just both happen to involve Clapton.Couldn't that link have been added here, rather than launch a second "Let's Trash Clapton" thread?

Me too! when I see slide in article , I think of him on I Can't Hold Out or others. I have canceled Rolling Stone, but I'll keep E.C. .And here I am thinking that he used the wrong size coricidin bottle on one of his songs![]()

Robert Cray’s sad situation? He’s doing quite well. Was not intentionally trashing Clapton. Threads are totally different subjects. This highlights Robert Cray's sad situation in a journalism article. The other is conjecture on RS magazine. They just both happen to involve Clapton.
Also, didn't read that thread as I'm not interested RS mag. That title doesn't mention Clapton.
I just read the article you posted and it seems like a fair assessment of the situation Clapton has found himself in and what led up to it, and the range of reactions many musicians who've known him quite well over the years have had to it.
