All I know is Speed Knobs increase speed, duh.

Reflectors increase emotive playing by encouraging looking inwards.

Finally, Witch Hats add a certain magical tone to anything played on that guitar.

I think this comes from using a lot of overdrive to soften the edge of the bridge pickup, but I'm always surprised when people go from middle to bridge (or even neck to bridge) and the difference is subtle.
I always feel like anytime I go to the bridge pickup, the difference is drastic.
