• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Are termites a threat?!

hehe the thread is old but always good.

I see your point, Tom. But the house isn't a concern here, we don't usually make our houses out of wood, we build brick/concrete ones.

Then why do they enter the house? This is the main reason we see termites at all.
Or, do you leave your guitars outside? :hmm

And our brick houses have wood in many interior walls. :ganz

We do have wooden furniture and objects. Many old houses also have wooden floors and tile liners. Not many, though.

My point was, we don't have the "they will eat your house" issue.

I was just visiting many friends in your situation and I envy you all. :salude

And I also understand how they might invade a building of concrete and/or stone and head for the nearest wooden things. I've seen it once or twice.
I wonder if a Burst is tasty? :ganz

The way most old guitars smell I don't want to taste one...
