• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Let's hear it for the Les Paul Studio!

Gems are so nice...I dig the white plastic and gold speed knobs on them.:salude

I love the look of Grovers on them, too, but I am afraid to put Grovers on mine. Mine is a chambered Studio and very light, so I am afraid to make it too neck heavy.:hmm

Anyone else with a more recent chambered LP Studio that has put on Grovers?

'Course, I would love to put nickel hardware on mine, too...where does it all end??:wah

My 1989 Studio with HB-R / HB-L pickups.
Trying hard to talk myself out of selling this one.
What a sound! Anyone else have or hear this pups in action?
That's also my 95 Studio hanging on the wall.

I have a ebony studio...(cant get the pix to post) got a silver pick guard on it now, may put a cream one on. pick ups are stock, changed the tuners to chrome, but are still keystone style, think i got those from stew-mac.

Question... the studios you guys have in honeyburst, are the re-finishes, i don't know if i would get mine re finished, but maybe pickup another studio and get that done, or maybe spring for a LP standard.. what do yall think
