• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Hey there boys & girls,

Got an old friend who's ready to go for his first Historic and he's looking for either a new or used '54 Goldtop.

Anyone out there know of any lying around?

Dave's Guitar Shop has a new one listed for $2250. I just traded for the 96 he had, & let me tell ya, that is one SWEET guitar. I like the 54RI so much I think I'm gonna sell my 57RI. The 54 just does the blues sooooo good. Dave's also has a beautiful faded cherry all mahogany 54RI for $2350. I'd love to see that one in person. You won't find a better guy to deal with than Dave either. One of his employees told me on the phone the other day that he considered himself very lucky to work there. For what it's worth, I own 5 LPs & teh 54RI gets my seal of approval.
