• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

What's your favourite tune of the year?

Being well behind the times, mine's actually a cut from 2015, that I've only just recently discovered.

I think this is simply magnificent...

My favorite release of 2017 is the self-titled, Magpie Salute, with the great song, "Omission".

Our European friends might already know this band, but it was totally new to me.

They're Dutch, but their sound is very "Austin, TX." The first time I heard this song, I wondered if I might get a chance to go see them in Gruene Hall. How they got this down so well is astonishing.

Awesome song! She has a "Heart" Anne Wilson sort of vibe and the song has an Eagles or Poco kinda thang goin' on which I absolutely love. Great melody, arrangement and lyrics! Thanks for that!

On April 15, 2017, the music world lost one of the truly greats! Allan Holdsworth was an inspiration to many, including myself... I first heard Allan on UK's "In The Dead Of Night", back in 1979... That shit was life altering...

RIP brother! And thank you!!! :salude
