Finally found a vintage Gibson GA40 amp that is in nice shape, no broken logo and the Les Paul oval at the bottom. Sounds great and the tremolo works! Joining the pack with two GA20, GA20T, GA30, Ranger, Explorer, Gibsonette and two 1957 Gibson Les Paul Goldtops (an early '57 with P-90s and later '57 all-mahogany with Humbuckers).

Nice one! Have you ever played through a '58ish Gibsonette? I've never had the pleasure to play through a GA-40, but unreservedly recommend the dual-single-ended Gibsonette as perhaps the ideal home amp.

Congrats, Mike. It's good to be a completist. Unreal clean collection, and I bet they sound killer, too... Enjoy!

Drew, this is the only Gibsonette I own or have played, and it roars like a lion!

What a bonehead - I didn't read closely enough! I thought the one in the foreground looked like the one I repaired.
