You can put some baking powder into the bottom of the slot and hit is with CA glue and shape it with rolled Emory cloth- might save you from remaking a nut forever.

Yep, I painstakingly went over it inside and out when purchasing to make sure no funny business. For my collection, its important for me for everything to 100%..Nice one - seems to be in all original condition. Mid to late 69, with 3 piece neck. Great guitars...
My 69 is the same. The numbers are very difficult to read......My only issue is the serial #, first three digits are really hard to read..
