Thank you, I am happy the way it came out. After everything settles out for a bit, I plan to melt some binding in Acetone to fill in some of the gaps in the fret ends as the original binding is extremely rolled over from play.

I was surprised about the nut myself.. I do like to get the nut slots as low as possible before it buzzes, I feel tuning is far superior this way. Obviously, it will not last as long, but I bought myself sometime

You can put some baking powder into the bottom of the slot and hit is with CA glue and shape it with rolled Emory cloth- might save you from remaking a nut forever.

Yep, Ive done that before, works like a charm

Thank you, I couldn't be happier. I know its the honeymoon period, but its definitely a great playing and sounding Les Paul.

Nice one - seems to be in all original condition. Mid to late 69, with 3 piece neck. Great guitars...

Yep, I painstakingly went over it inside and out when purchasing to make sure no funny business. For my collection, its important for me for everything to 100%..

My only issue is the serial #, first three digits are really hard to read.. I don’t know why Gibson was so weak handed when pressing it in.. Its not like there’s thick lacquer on there, I can see the wood grain pretty easily

My 69 is the same. The numbers are very difficult to read.
