• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Tommy Colletti Black Beauty

The neck profile was particularly important to Tommy as the collaboration began to replicate his original guitar.
“I’d never felt one like it before. It;s got this very soft “V” that makes it a joy to play. I was actually surprised, the first time I picked it up, as how playable it is. Now, I expect every guitar to feel that good when I hold it. I guess it spoiled me!” -Tommy Colletti
That great neck feel, as well as its classic tonal palette, ranging from growling blues to bell-like jazz, captures all the vibe of Tommy’s original, allowing a few more of us to feel that transcendent power that comes when holding an original 50’s Les Paul. To make the experience complete, each Collector’s Choice #22 is hand ages to mirror the gently worn appearance of Tommy’s own.

I guess you had to get #1 ;)

I love the color of the DutchBurst; they did the CC18s very fittingly... What a beauty!
I figured, if I get one, it might as well be 001, since I was the first to turn a screw on the original when it surfaced in 2012.

did you buy it Dutch treat ?

Good one, and someone as cosmopolitan as @DutchRay probably even gets it....

FWIW, Nederlanders don't have this expression or habit, which came into vogue in mid-19th century US by way of other American's observance of how the Pennsylvania Dutch, who are mostly German, brought their own food pails to gatherings.

That said, I've met a few women from the Netherlands I'd like to Go Dutch with!
