Singlecut Brand Beer?

I was grocery shopping today and looking through the "Local Brewery" section. As I looked I saw a brand under the "Singlecut" name. One of the offerings, an IPA, was "18-Watt IPA". As I looked the can over I noticed the logo was black lettering spelling out "Singlecut" with a red background that formed a very familiar headstock shape. I went to their web page and they do use some other guitar related logos and names, but they don't say much other than "In case you haven't guessed, we like guitars!". They are located in the greater NYC area, although it looks like they have pretty good east coast distribution. No connection to the brand, just thought it was interesting.

as a beer geek, I can confirm the Singlecut beers are very good. Not for someone who sticks with Bud Light all the time, but if you like craft beer, check them out if you're in their distro area.
ETA: bonus is their logo looks like the top of a Gibson headstock...

I have never tried this Singlecut beer before but since I live in Canada there's one guitar-related beer up here called Headstock IPA at 7% alc./vol. I've had this one quite a few times too many and for an IPA I really love it! It has sort of a very hoppy orange peel bitter taste that is refreshing tasty IMHO. And when you pour it into a tall and frosty glass it develops a quite good head.:salude

I pass through an industrial par that has some alcohol distributors in it and have seen Singlecut's trucks on the highway near there. They have some of the beer names and logos on the trucks. Pretty cool!

Until they hear from Gibson's lawyers.

Right, that shape is copyrighted. Or protected somehow. But does that just apply to guitars? :salude
No, it applies universally. It might be why they prefer you to post photos of guitars without the head showing here.
If Gibson put their mind to it, they'd make a fair wedge from youtube....maybe they already do?
