• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE HAVE MOVED THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER! WE ARE HAVING PERIODIC ISSUES WITH DELAYED RESPONSE TIME! DOING TROUBLESHOOTING! PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US UNTIL WE IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM. Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Much maligned for so long by many. Now they're so old, they're cool!!
Post up your heavy, big headstock, bullet trussrod beauties.

Anyway, here's my 1973 Strat that I think I posted here. Been working on the plastics. In these pics it now has a correct '73 guard. I pulled some knobs and PU covers off of 12 year old American Standard Strat. They had some good color and patina to them. Don't think I'll go all out to pony up for anymore old plastic though. There's so much non original about the guitar anyway. I just want all the parts to fit together from an age/look standpoint.

Also included are two VERY CBS era Fenders. My 1973 Telecaster Deluxe and my 1976 Telecaster Custom. Both fantastic guitars.
