• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Looks like Butterscotch was used primarily on the flametop R8's at least within the Historic line.

O.K. experts. I've followed Lily's instructions and can post a link to my pic but how do I get it right in the post?

My nipples harden! That color is the best for Les Pauls.

I think Gladys looks like she faded to Butterscotch.

I originally started this thread after searching for info on my R8 Authentic. Several mentioned how they didn't care for Butterscotch, which is ok as everyone has their own tastes.

After looking at all the guitars posted so far, how could anyone not love Butterscotch???
I can honestly say I would love to own all of the guitars shown so far. Not one dog in the entire group. (Well, you can keep 'Fabio')

Thanks for posting and keep them coming. :)

Wow! Some really killer examples. I would like to post my 83 reissue. Can someone tell me how to do this?

Although far from an "expert," you have to have your picture hosted, (in other words you can't link to your PC or store the pic on the LPF). Use the little "Insert Image" button and put the link in. You can right click on your pic, go to properties, copy the link and paste it into the image text box.
