What do you pack them in/with? What carrier do you use to ship? I am considering selling a couple of my 70's 4x12's but shipping seems like it would be a real PITA. How are you guys handling it?

I just shipped a 2x12 last week. Took it to UPS.
I gave them $100 and they took it from there.

I guess a 4x12 would be twice as much. maybe $150, including ins.

Look into Forward Air. You may have to drop it off at their airport facility, then they will hire someone like Towne Freight to drop ship it between the airport at the other end and the receiving address. That's how things like large flat panel TVs, motorcycles, etc are shipped. Very affordable.

Why is it unfortunate for you? Good to know the weight limit is double what I though.
