* does anyone know what type of clear glass bottle he used ?
* he uses the middle finger w/ that 'stacked' position w/ the middle/glass laying above the index, when barring chords, etc.
* that had to be some kind of long stretchy fingers to execute those two-fingered chord I-V-VII changes, using the ring/pinky combo - it's hard to do for me

any thoughts ?

Well, he was called "The Bottle".

I once saw Kim Simmonds play slide with a (mostly full) bottle of Dutch lager.
