Wow, that's amazing.
I went a different way on a replica i got a few weeks ago - refinished '52 was the theme.
You don't see too many non-standard replica's, but to me they're just as cool.
Thought I'd post my TV junior. I shared some pics earlier in the vintage section regarding TV finishes; but figured this was a good spot for it.
I measured and double checked everything off of my '56 Jr, as I always wanted a TV single cut in addition to the sunburst Jr.
Oooof! Stunner!
This one arrived in the house yesterday. It's a really really great guitar and sounds every bit as good as it looks !

Thanks for your hospitality today Rich...worth the drive in filthy weather to play this lovely guitar....that lovely that it is scary.
:salude
I only held this one briefly as I was concentrating on the other, which I was buying. After spending some time with mine I would love to spend a little time with this one now. Like every guitar, they were quite different and have their own character.
What did you think Paul? To me, they are on another level.

Can't wait to see and hear yours at the next get together.
:salude
When are we doing that? I need a guitar geek fix. You wanna organise another? I got the venue. Good to see you and Audrey today brother. :teeth
I'm on a sticky wicket a little here Rob, having expressed my negative opinions of these "type" of guitars many times in the past.
However I will openly state that the proof of the pudding is indeed in the tasting...and it is undeniable that this guitar ( and I strongly suspect your guitar also - I'm familiar with your builder's work through another pal who has 2 of them ) is, as you say, on another level compared to what is available at the same price point, certainly those CC's and TH's I've personally played, and which I consider to be very great guitars also.
That may be considered blasphemy by some, and I respect that viewpoint, but I can only speak as I find ( and hear ). This guitar would murder my Murphy, and you know how much I think about that guitar....
