What do you think about the font and distances of the digits ?
Have a look for the non-rounded "3" .

Could this be genuine 1967 Gibson-made ?
The rest of the guitar ( ES-335 ) looks completely correct.
Thank you !

Doesn't look right to me. Way too deep and crooked numbers. The tuners aren't look right either.

Should look like this, with Gibson Deluxe tuners.

FWIW, I've seen "3" with the straight top line on 1965 legit examples. And Klusons in '67 are still possible I guess?
But as Wilko says, very deep impressed font, doesn't look quite right.

Font is not standard alright, but I've seen those stamp anomalies on original looking sparkling burgundy finished guitars - possibly due to Stan Rendel's story about the 335s having problems and being refinished in that color.. that's why I asked.

It is a regular cherry red one.
No signs of repair or refinish.
Has Klusons , not "Gibson Deluxe".

I have never seen serials like that, others when restamped had another bigger font or other differences.
But this one seems like an original serial-no. , just with a strange font and distances.

I'd like to know if Gibson used the "wrong" stamping occasionally ? For whatever reason.

This could be a reason.
Because when refinished you'd have to restamp ( by hand ?) the no.
And being outside the regular line you need to do this by hand, perhaps with other stamps ?

The guitar is cherry red and shows no signs of being refinished or repaired.

Tx - detailed pics of the entire guitar would help. Subject to those, I would not rule this out as factory original stamped, done by hand due to some kind of issue during the build process, or a later factory reneck - look at the tenon section.
