There has been talk about these freaks of
Electronics. So I went on a search for myself
EDR And 60 BURST said they got a Duckbucker,
so I tried to duplicate one, Steps are below.
1. Flip a magnet in your P/U "I chose the neck "

2. Put Selector switch in Middle position.

3. Enjoy new Duckbucker sound !!

I really did'nt notice much of a change when
only 1 or the other P/U was selected, But
with both selected, Im in Duckbucker Heaven.
:smokin :wail: :halo

And if you had said it was only one P/U that
gave the DuckBucker tone, I would'nt have
gone to this trouble. :bonk
Snags, Yes it is. And I dont think I'd want
that sound ALL the time, but it was fun
Messing around with.

Unless the polarity of the 57 Classic is the reverse of that of the Seth, the magnet WAS NOT FLIPPED.
So there.

I do wonder why our experience was so different? Everyone seems to like this mod. Did anyone else mention having the results Ed and I got? :60burst

Looks like we're going to have to try it again, Bill. This time I'll try and find an antiquity to do it with too.

I have a reverse wound P90 - obviously single coil - but if I connect it normally it's out of phase and sounds quacky in the centre pos. Both pickups are normal played separately. It's fun for a while but.......
