• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE HAVE MOVED THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER! Let us know how things are going! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Angus’ tailpiece has saddles built in. It’s harder to get the intonation set accurately without saddles. That being said, I have a number of guitars without bridges and most of them do just fine.

That looks like a Leo Quann Badass.

They are made to intonate.

I have several and they work great.

Heavy, good for sustain.

Other than looks I can't find fault with them.

Maybe other than string changes are a bit of a pain in the Bad part.

Well, seems as though the file size is too big.. I need to figure out how to make it smaller.
The guitar is my Murphy Lab ‘61 ES-335( in cherry red) with a wrapover bridge I’ve had it about a year and it’s an amazing guitar and just as good as my Murphy’59 Les Paul and ML 64 ES-335. Both are light aged!

It works great on my LP junior. If intonation becomes a problem Glazer guitar out of Nashville makes a great bridge called the Music City Bridge and they work great for intonation on my junior.

Stopbar and Gibson ABR-1 bridge is perfect for many reasons.

Having a stop tailpiece is just one less that to have to deal with. If you can’t get the standard one to intonate good enough to suit you get a MojoAxe tailpiece or something similar.
