I'm looking for a 58 Authentic and am leaning toward #11297, it looks most like a 'real one'. Which is your favorite?

I agree with you. 11303 looks pretty nice as well. Also has some nice vertical grain.

I like the way the medular grain interacts with the flame on 11281 best

For a straight 58, 11332 has a pretty monster top. Thick, fat flame. Cool vibe

Problem you will have now is many of those guiatars are in Philly.

If you decide you want one I'd call the shop and have them call Dave on the cell phone and have him take it off the table.

Obviously, you only want to do that if you are willing to actually buy the guitar now.

Jim: I'll agree that 11340 looks yum yum. BTW, that's 8.2 pounds, which would be 8 pounds 3.2 ounces.

Hands down...

I like the '98 58 right below the 2001 crop...darker burst, more old looking top.
