• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE HAVE MOVED THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER! Let us know how things are going! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

why splurge WW $$$'s??
Good question.. as my initial thought was the resale value.. but do/should WW spec really command that much more in relation to the spec they produce?

Here in the United States, I bought a Wildwood LP for $2700 used at Guitar Center and sold it for $5650 only 3 months later. It was a very lightweight guitar and absolutely amazing to play.

Take a look at WW inventory compared to others. Where do I begin?

Edit: OMG! I looked around at R8’s & R9’s. Right you are, lots to pick through and the price has dropped on used.

Softness in the market these days indeed. I sold a couple of amps recently and had to get pretty aggressive on pricing. I picked up a custom shop Strat recently for a decent price (not a killer deal price) and it was 4 years old and un-played.
