First post, first Gibson after having purchased ~12 electrics through other brands!
Posted are unedited pictures, I've removed the pickguard (sorry). It also came with the Gibson Custom shop medallion but re-installed the plastic one. Weight is ~4.1kg / 9lbs but need to check again with a more accurate scale.
I bought this one after testing ~8-10 guitars in store, ranging from 2016-2020 models, from Tom Murphy Aged -> 1959/1960 -> Rick Nielsen/other replica. Each one was fantastic, this one just hit the spot in a special way :spabout
Fretwork is great, mahogany back is perfect, (Indian?) rosewood fingerboard is dark and the burst/flame is just right. Very happy, I think this is the beginning of a rabbit hole ~
Really enjoyed testing both the 1959 and 1969(v1-3) neck profiles, however decided to stick to the slightly thicker 1959 as the 1960 profiles are more similar to my previous guitars.
I've seen a lot of Cherry burst on the forum fade to a Lemon drop over time, would the same thing happen with a Dirty Lemon if left too close to direct sunlight?
Great to finally join the Les Paul Train eace2
