With all the changes in 2013, my wife decided to finally get an R8 to finish her "Historic" burst set.

She seems pretty happy with it, so I guess I am as well. I just gotta keep her outta Dave's, and away from the R7 she "needs" to "complete" the set :rofl

A kinda unexpected pattern, ...-...-

That's a great-looking guitar. Really fantastic color... I mean, this is coming from a repeat Iced Tea owner, but I have to admit it can get tedious to see Iced Tea over and over again, it is nice to see some actual red — especially when it's done "right" (as appears to be the case here). On top of that, that top has just enough going on in the way of wood grain and the occasional blister of figure, that the cumulative result is pretty much a perfect-looking Les Paul. Congrats! :dude:
