Nashville to ABR-1 Conversion

Recently bought a late model Gibson Explorer and it has a Nashville Bridge. Every Gibson I've ever owned has had an ABR-1 bridge. It's purely aesthetic but I prefer the look of the ABR-1. Any suggestions to convert the bridge to an ABR-1?

Faber sells what you would need to do a conversion plus their pricing and quality is excellent

You won't be disappointed. I have their kits on all of my Les Pauls, save for my two Tributes(which I'll do eventually) and my Japanese Tokai.

There's wo options from Faber. You can get their bridge that fits on Nashville posts or you can get the INsert kit that replaces the posts with ones that more resemble the ABR-1 posts.

I've done both but haven't really noticed a different - they're on different guitars anyway so impossible to compare.

I used Callaham's Nashville conversion studs on my Explorer.

I then sanded down the lip of these conversion studs, inserted them into the guitar and used double thumbwheels with the ABR-1 bridge. Works perfectly.
