Been using a Mono M80 Classic with my LPs for the past 5 years now. I trust it with my R9, that’s how much I trust it.

Recently pulled a trigger on a Mono Vertigo. Arrived today and I notice the back of the headstock touches lightly the back of the case. The M80 classic headstock completely clears the back of the case.

Mono reassures these vertigo cases are made with the Gibson headstock in mind. Curious to know if anyone has first hand experience with it.

I just got the vertigo and am wondering the same thing. I hope it’s fine. We’ll be pissed if our headstocks snap from the pressure. I mean it won’t snap just from being squeezed in the case. It would take a drop or something to fall in it I’m sure.

I've used the Mono Vertigo with my 04, 05, and 73 LPs with no issues over the past 8 years.
