THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!
Electric Lloyd, Thanks man. The guitar sounds great. It has clear sound that cuts through the mix even on the neck pick-up. I'm not good at describing things like shimmering upper mid range highs and brown woody mids with a snarky honk and bell like tones in between. I can say I like the sound of this guitar. I use it for 4 hour gigs, I don't use any effects, just a Les Paul, a cord, and a Marshall amp. It is a Cloud 9 and it is very lively, when I play it un-plugged it almost as loud as an acoustic guitar. I have listened to a couple of my friends play it too, so I know it sound great.
