Hey, I'm at Dave's right now, they just got in a 58 Authentic with Jimmy Page wiring (pull pots), and an uncovered bridge pickup. It is a limited run of 25. Kinda Cool.

Also got in a 58 mahogany Flying V with the Explorer style Split 'v' headstock. Crazy shit!

Limited Page model

Dave, Do you know what complement of pickups are in it and what the cost is? Also does it come with Jimmy's Schaller tuners?

Not sure what pickups are in it, but it does have Grovers on it. I think it is $3575

You mean a Flying V with split-style Futura headstock, right? They've done an Explorer like that.

I saw he has a black 57 reissue, that one has to look pretty damn cool. Dave if you have the chance can you check out a 58 reissue for me, #11244. Thanks Matt

Dave's R9 Darkburst

Jiml, I have seen and held that 99 darkburst in person. It is around 9 lbs maybe slightly under, nicely sprayed burst, good resonance. No red bleed on the bindings. Many prefer the bursts of the 99s over the newer R9s. I feel each year has it's merits. Call Dave's, they are great people to buy from, Jeff DePetro will give you a hands on description.
