So, I already got some fantastic input for a LP Junior I inherited from my dad who just past away.
Now, I'm looking to date this Deluxe also. This thing is an absolute beauty and is in terrific shape. It doesn't say Les Paul on it anywhere so I don't know whats up with that. All I know is that my dad also had this Gibson guitar as far back as I can remember and I'm pretty sure it was bought used in original hard shell case. What's the vintage? SN 734802 and it has mini humbuckers.

With the embossed "Gibson" mini Humbuckers, it looks to be a 1972 Deluxe. Although it isn't a 100% guarantee based on that alone, it is almost certainly from 1972. The pot codes would confirm the date. But that is safe bet.

Made in USA stamp with 700k indicates 1970-1972. Those with more information may be able to help narrow, and look at pot code dates...

Also, silk screened Les Paul Model logos on the headstock stopped in mid 1972. Run your finger over it. Is it raised up? If yes, that is a silk screen.
