Yes, it's definitely gigable.
I've replaced the original speaker (don't want to risk blasting it).

What speaker do you have in it? I put a Celestion T1088 (Alnico) in mine and it's a nice match.

I put in a Celestion Alnico Ruby in it.
That's also a very good match.
