A trio of old Alnicos. Smooth, ribbed, and a backup for the champish itch.

Started to populate, but ran out of parts. Need to learn to properly count.

Looking forward to hearing the results. I have one of those Fender Brownies and love it.

Thank You, mistersnappy.

I've always wanted one of these and am really excited to finish it.

What speaker do you have in yours?

I bought some plexiglass on the way home as I think I'll try to use it for front and back panels.

The transformers finally arrived today, so as long as I don't break anything, all the parts are here.

I've stored the original Oxford and right now have a Cannabis Rex in it. Have used a Greenback reissue as well and liked that. Next might be some kind of Alnico...? Sounds pretty fantastic with all of them. :dude:

Well... I didn't get as much done this weekend as I wanted to.

Cut and painted a plexiglass faceplate.
Cut out hole for the power transformer.
Mounted PT, OT, jacks, pots, sockets, etc.

Finally got something done. Chassis with transformers and faceplate actually fit, but not by much.

The PT brushes the backplate mounting rail when placing chassis in cabinet, but it does slide by.
Who the heck is measuring things around here? :##

Frontside - those are reflections on the faceplate, not cracks.

Backside.

Transformers clear the speaker. Should I make a plexiglass backplate?

PT and OT wires routed and extra leads insulated.

Bias board and filter board are mounted.

Thanks for the kind comment, Tommy.

Cool clips. I'll try to post some when I'm done.

I need to take about 10 amps to my buddy's studio.

Does anyone have a time maker for rent? I just need an extra 12 hours each day.

Used my left foot, used my right foot, and kicked really hard (and drilled out the mounting holes).

:wowWow, this thing sounds great:wow

The tremolo is just fantastic, the cleans have a great shimmer, and the overdriven tones are just outstanding.

It has been about 2 hours, played about 45 minutes and if you haven't guessed, I'm just as happy as a gator with a duck.
