• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hello everyone!

There is someone selling a 2021 Iced Tea R8 which he claims is an M2M model. The add is on a local craiglist and I was wondering if M2M's have their own COA's or at least a regular COA where M2M is noted? The guitar looks like a normal plaintop R8 in
Iced Tea (very beautiful) and the only thing that makes it M2M according to the seller is a thin neck which is rare for R8's.

Cheers!

Maybe on the box label, I didn't keep it, but my SG doesn't have anything to indicate M2M. Smile neck doesn't add any value, in my opinion.

Rare. :ROFLMAO:
Slim neck R8 = R0.

As Tim says only on the packaging.
I see Music Zoo specifically advertise M2M for their different LPs etc and at the higher price.

Thanks guys, the reason for my post is because although I like the guitar, I believe the seller is asking for almost a "shop" price, while it is definitely a used guitar and he is using the M2M spec (if true), to push up the price.

Not to be misunderstood, the seller has every right to ask for as much as he thinks his guitar is worth.

Cheers!

I have 4 M2M's The certificate is no different than any other Historic/reissue Les Paul.
Being an M2M should neither add nor subtract from the selling price. The M2M simply indicates it was an order placed with specs picked by the buyer ( or store) who ordered it. It could be a different fret size, color, neck size etc.
In my case I may have a problem if I ever tried to sell my R0. I has a full 1" thick neck. Anyone shopping for an R0 wouldn't come near my guitar. So, don't get caught up in it being "worth" more.
