• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I'm selling a fantastic old Valco-made amp, the Vega V70. This is essentially the same amp as the Supro 1695T (which is essentially the same as the 1690T Coronado--the Jimmy Page amp--but with a 15" spkr and an 8ohm output transformer) but with 7027s rather than 6L6s. It will work with 6L6s just fine, just move one wire from one pin to another. (Note, it does NOT require 7027As like many Ampegs, though you can use them.)

It's a very aggressive sounding circuit with one more gain stage than similar/later Supros like the 1696TN. Great clean to mean capability. I put a vintage (1963) C15N it which sounds way better than the P15P it came with (and which stuck an inch or so out the back). Cathode-biased. Great tube-tremolo.

Great GE power tubes in it. Properly grounded 3-prong AC. Power section filter caps replaced, some other worn out caps replaced. The OTs were originally wired directly to the speakers in Valco amps. I've added 1/4" speaker jack so you can plug in an attenuator/reamp/wet-rig/whatever between the OT and speaker.

It's in very good condition and works without issue.

Local L.A. sale preferred, though shipping is an option. 1800USD (doesn't included shipping) PPF&F, Venmo.
