I just got my first Gibson Custom shop Les Paul - Standard Historic 1957 Antique Gold VOS. I love it.

My First Gibson Custom Shop as well....I bought a LP CUSTOM fretless wonder in 1971 for $592.00..which was quite a bit of dinero for those days..There was no LES Paul Craze back then as we see now..but it was a gorgeous black beauty....That Guitar was stolen and since I have only played Strats. In July I purchased a Wildwood 2019 R8 and i have not been able to put it down..it is simply fantastic...oozes quality. IMO the 2019 R8 is a better instrument than the 71 LP Custom.
