Ed,Do you like the Rolphs BETTER than the modded Antiquities? What output do you prefer in the bridge and neck Of each (Rolph and Antiquity)?
In reference to magnets, are the Rolph magnets stock ?And where did you get the magnets for the antiquity ? thanks

Well I personally like them better than the antiquities. I still think antiquities are very good, but I like these better. For one, the neck pickup sounds almost the same as my PAF. The bridge pickup didnt sound exactly the same, but I got more drive and harmonics out of it than the antiquity and found it more fun to play. Ive always felt that antiquities are good pickups but tend to be softer and warmer than PAFs. The Rolphs cut like a PAF. The antiquity I tried had the Gibson P90 Alnico V in it, Toni sent it to me to try. It didnt do much for me. BUT, it might be my antiquity, maybe its a lame one. So I can only tell you what I found, you may find different. Recently Toni says he likes the Seth Lovers with the Alnico V even better than the Antiquity, so there is always something for everybody. Im going to see if I can get a 7.8 to 8k Rolph to try in the bridge. My test was with a 7.6 which was plenty hot enough. I love the 7.6 in the neck position. I dont think much more than 8 would be necessary. Some people say that Rolph will give you a hard time about getting a bridge pickup that is hotter than the neck. I can understand why because even his 7.2 screamed in the bridge position. I didnt touch the Rolph at all, Im assuming it has Alnico V in it because he told me that every PAF he's ever tested had an Alnico V in it.

Ed,

I'll try to post a soundfile wher we can hear the difference between aln.V Antiquities and aln.V Seth Lovers.
I just hated aln.II Seth Lovers but with alnico V in, i like them even better than moded Antiquities.
The best pickup (only my taste) i've ever try so far ! Just Perfect ! ....for me.
