Just curious what caps Gibson uses on current R0’s. Black Beauties are seemly hard to find at reasonable prices. I’m assuming they’re using the “bumble bee” black beauties.

Thanks.

I don't know about the new caps. But, I have a drawer full of NOS Sprague 160P .022@400volts and every single one reads .04 more or less...

Sure. But, I just checked and all I have are .023 & .033 left. You can have a couple if you're still interested.
Meaning the original value is .023 .033 or that’s what they drifted to?

The original values. My point was, if the nos caps are drifted that much, so are the originals in vintage guitars. So, a 1960 Burst probably has caps that are drifted to .047-.050 etc.
