Best hot pickups?

I've read a lot on here about the best PAFish pickups, but what about the higher-output stuff? If you're familiar with the new Nickelback song "Figured You Out," that's the sound I'm going for. It's not a unique tone, but I heard it on the radio coming home today and it's pretty much what I'm going for. Can anyone recommend some pickups that are in that ballpark? Thanks.

Les Pauls, PRS SC and Hollowbodies. If you want their tone I would say get the PRS #7 pups in your guitar and a Mesa Rectifier. That is about as close as you can get.

Maybe the folks at the PRS forum can help you out.

PRS Forum is no more. Ended last year late November. Everyone moved to "the Gear Page" and "Birds and Moons".
